At her academy, the student council president is elected by an all-student vote. Even as a first-year, Meguri boldly ran for president on a platform to abolish the strict “black rules” that had long been questioned by many students. Against all odds, she defeated the incumbent third-year president and won the election.

During the final moments of the campaign, each candidate was given a chance to perform “one last message” in front of the entire student body. It was then that Meguri delivered her now-legendary high kick performance—a symbolic gesture that captured the spirit of change she represented.

Her serious speech and the unforgettable high-kick scene have since been remembered as a legendary episode in the school’s history. Thanks to the mischievous student broadcast club, both moments were preserved on film and live on as part of this unique production.
